User-interface thread with modelss dialog problem!
Since the game will not tolerate a task switch (alt-tab) to the Windows desktop there needs to be a way to take notes in the game since we can't access a word processor. Having hand written or printed notes is so archaic and silly when I have a multi-thousand dollar computer at my fingertips.

I've been doing exactly that, and also rebooting my PC. Nothing helps... The GUI doesn't show... If I do an Alt-Tab to cycle thru the active applications, PSP doesn't show either... I can only assume some PSP module got corrupted, but I reinstalled version 8.1 successfully, to no avail... George's getting upset.

So, I can alt tab out, do what I need, alt-tab in, hit F10 3 times (to go from regular, to no-interface, to Hud (640x480), and back to regular) and have my screen back. The only drawback is that everytime you open a spell book, it must change resolutions, so it can get a little cumbersome in game.
